How do you drive this thing?
So, I just got home and I saw in my email that Mike Nelson had left me a message on Myspace. So, I checked it. It said:
"I heard the monster's hate below freezing temperatures.
I imagine if someone wanted to hide something from them, a freezer would be ideal."
I thought to myself, "How very Resident Evil/Silent Hill this is!" and immediately stepped out into my kitchen. By pure coincidence, the light bulb had burned out and nothing happened when I flicked the switch. Scary, huh? So, I flicked the other light on, and sure enough, the freezer was covered in a bloody handprint, various smudges, and a very creepy X. I opened it up and found a folded, blood-soaked piece of paper. It said:
"Paul,
I hid my weapon in the far left cabinet. I don't think these monsters can read. Also, the ammo is upstairs. So the gun is useless to me. If you are reading this, I am dead. I have enough food down here to survive indefinitely. I just hope the door holds up long enough for those things to pass.
...I hope you fair better than me.
Good luck. I wish things could have been different and...
I just wanted to say that I love you. I just wish I could have told you in person.
Love always,
Mauren
P.S. Last I had some ammo, I was upstairs watching The Quick and the Dead."
By this point I was totally mindblown at how awesome this was. Anyhow, I searched through my far left cabinet, and sure enough, I found it in the far back. Tucked away in the cabinet was everyones favorite yellow pellet gun, the Zebra II.
Wouldn't you know, I opened up case for The Quick and the Dead and found all the pellets I could ever need.
Amazing.
